true or not true
is it true that boost it ISN'T really a boost! But rather the 'boost' is normal juice with the standard Bits and that 'non-boost' is less juice than a standard Bit.

In my experience with my booster. the non boost speed with a 3.0 is near that of a 1.6 (if they had it). with the boost on it is faster than my bit with a 3.8.
so in overview i think non-boost is super loss of voltage, but the boost is actually a stronger than stock bit voltage...
just my $0.02

Yeap! Thats true.
The non-booster speed puts less voltage to the motor than a normal Bit and the booster speed puts more voltage.
So, those conditions lead to Slower than a Normal Bit and to Faster than a Normal Bit.

I agree with what these guys have already said. My booster car without boost it's slower than normal and with boost the 3.0 will run like a 3.8.

then what is the point of having the boost they should have made it act same speed as a stock bit that sounds like a waste is there a way to make it run as fast as a stock and still have a boost faster than a 3.8?

Racemonster505,
The point of having it run slower than a regular bit is that is can take tight corners off boost without loosing control or flipping over, and then it can boost down the straight aways where top speed is needed. It's the closest thing to proportional speed control, that Tomy could accomplish at this tiny size. I think it works pretty good.

Kyle is absolutely right. Motors like the 2.6 and above would never be able to handle table top races, in a Bit. The boost is almost like downshifting on a tight turn. this is invaluable in a race. its the best of both worlds!
Even in a drag race, if you use a higher gear ratio like the 6.57:1, you could use the lower speed for take off (because ratios above 8.25:1 have poor torque at startup) to over come the slow start, then take advantage of the higher gear ratio with the boost function.
