Blog mentions that weight of original aluminum ones is 1.2g whereas these are a mere 0.2g!
By using these, they are supposed to make the car handle better. We'll see.

those side pieces on the type 2 battery holder are relatively heavy... Olaf (one of our top drivers) removed them and machined some plastic ones attempting to eliminate some upper weight which helped lower the CG of his car. his mod was crude but it worked so this is an option part i'm definitely looking forward to. thanks for the update!
