The car is noticeably slower
I have had the car for about a year now and I have been racing with my son at home. On my fourth run today I noticed that my car is noticeably slower than usual. I adjusted the throttle trim to the max and it still feels like it is low on battery or something. But I made sure the battery was fully charged. What could be wrong?

That's what I suspected from reading the owner's manual...
Thank you.

I installed the new motor and it is still slow. My daughter has been using the car a lot in Training mode for the last 7 days or so. And even when it is out of the training mode it thinks it is still in the training mode.
I reset the Tx and I still seemed slow BUT I was judging by the sound of the car in my hand! After racing against my son's car, it seems all back to normal again. I guess the new motor is smoother so it sounded slower but it is faster.
Thanks.

I started noticing the same thing on my Dnano on my second day on the track. I was worried because I would've expected the motor to last a little longer than the little bit I ran my car.
So while I was at home I fiddled around with uh... tweak (for lack of the correct term) buttons on the top and left of the steering wheel. I pressed the vertical one up a couple of times and suddenly the car sprang back to it's original speed.
This may not be THE fix, but it's what helped me.

if all else fails go for a full transmitter settings 'reset' and that normally alleviates most 'function' problems. the perfex kt-18 is fickle like that *shrug*

In my case, it was the motor. The car just turned 1 year old this month.
