Antenna as Handling Mod

I do this all of the time, and just noticed that I've never really noticed it being discussed - how many people use the orientation of the antenna as a method for adjusting handling? i.e. angle it slightly forward to reduce understeer, backward to increase etc.? I find it really helps when trying to optimize handling on a given track.

How big are your antennae?

All my modded ones are too short to have enough weight to affect handling. They help in roll overs though.

Maybe I should start putting on longer ones?! Using the antenna as a handling aide never crossed my mind.

Tiny has been tinkering with rc cars far too long.

I'm using 6" of Cat 5 wire. That length is before attaching it to the car, so I'd guess about 5" is how much sticks out.

Hehe! Mine are mostly stock with the knot removed. Also, I use the pigtail method on some to reduce CG.
