Radioshack Rechargeables Problem

Its been a while since I've posted on tinyrc.com, but I've ran into another problem, after a few days of purchasing the radioshack rechargeable kit I was putting the batteries to charge since I'd be needing them in about an hour or so, however when I plugged the charger into the wall the LED Light was staying red...Whats going on?
