I know for a fact that a dual battery setup will work because i've built a couple of them.
I'm not sure what the maximum voltage is that the components can handle, but if you're brave you can always experiment.
In building these things up I actually preffer a PARALLEL dual battery setup.
The key difference is that instead of being faster, which isn't necessarily better, it'll have twice the CAPACITY.
It's the equivalent of a larger gas tank.
The other cool part is that you simply charge the thing twice or three times to charge it up. No mods to the charger are required, you just have to charge it longer.
I have no clue what an "Arctic Mod" is, but if it involves drive gear reduction and/or replacing the steering motor, then a parallel setup may be better for you. That stuff all eats power big time.
