Exclamation Gen 1- Mainboard dead??

Last Thursday I decided to try a 6 cell mod with little instruction. I soldered the AAA* holder on while the motor was on and then the motor wouldn't turn at all , but the steering was fine. Several refrences told me to replace the FETs. Spent 18 bucks on it , the job it looks fine and what did it do? Nothing at all. Still no response from the motor. I also tried the Power Switch Bypass, nothing still.

Is my mainboard completely dead, if so, how?

People aren't always on this site browsing and sometimes you have to wait for the knowledgable people to come on. Please don't bump your threads.

What do you mean "while the motor was on"? Was this just saying that the car was on?

Where did you solder in the AAA battery holder?

Who did you have replace the FETs?

Have you tried a different motor?

Have you made sure that the motor pads that the wires get mounted to send a signal when the trigger on the remote is pulled?

The motor was connected.

On the black jumper wire that connects both stock battery holders (black wire)

Did it myself, they look perfect though.

Yep, tried my other 2 stage 2 motors and both my stock ones.

Do you mean where the connector wires are soldered on the EP?

Thank you

Did you make sure to put the right type of FEts on and have them oriented the correct way? Over heating them can damage them. It's odd to me that neither of them work though, this would lead me to believe that the same thing has to be wrong with both of them.

Double check everything and make sure all the legs are soldered down. I've had some that looked soldered down, but with a magnifying glass I saw otherwise.
