Most of my Xmod collection
All righty, since snakemod posted about his collection and I was trying to organize my xmods already, I decided to take two quick pictures and post them.
This is most of my collection, things not shown are a lot of electronics and motor parts. There are also many more body parts and other various pieces.
Sadly, there are 3 more evo Cars on the way. Now imagine a bigger collection of ZZ/Bits and various superslicks on top of this.
I'm living proof that there is a true micro/mini RC addiction.

number 2
In theory, I have enough electronics and pieces to make everyone one of those chasis a working car.

How much money have you spent on all of them? You got a nice collection though.

Not nearly as much as most would think. I have a friend that works at RS and keeps all the store returns and floor models he can get his hands on. I buy them from him at $10 each. One of the trucks was a store return given to me for free.
I have never bought a new one from RS. Others have been from lots on ebay (back when they were cheaper).
Most of the money goes into the accesories (li-ions, motors, awd kits, bearings, FETs, body kits, etc). I have only paid full price for one item and that was a stage II evo motor kit. I shop around and find the best deals. I got bearing kits for gen1 for $5 each, Fets for $1 each, body kits for $2-$5 each. In total though, I have no idea.
I will never deny a $10 xmod though, so as long as my friend keeps getting them, I will keep buying them.

I wish I had friends like that. I am going to see if my RS has any returns tomorrow.

I'm am unsure exactly how many running cars are in the group. I still haven't gotten around to testing some of them. Store returns sometimes come back broken.
The F-150 I got for free had a fried FET, some come with broken knuckles and such. I would say, if given enough time, I could get 15 running cars out of what is in the picture. I would also think that with more time and some luck that as many as 18 could run. My younger brother also has a modified chasis that I gave him.
Hopefully my connection at RS will have some more next time I stop by around Thanksgiving.
I have 3 more running evos on the way. I just wish I could get the missing bodies (corvette, camaro, yellow skyline, and any of the rare over seas ones). That stupid old camaro body commands a pretty high price on ebay. I just saw a white supra go for over $70 without shipping.

Just because I got them cheap does not change their value at all. A working evo chasis brings at least $25 on the bay of E.
I'm not selling any of them dude... If I were, this would be in the trading forum.
