I always ask every RS I go into for store return or floor model xmods. I gained a connection that sells them to me for $10 each, (of which i've gotten 7 from).
Today, I was handed a returned truck without charge. It's the orange F-150. The tires twitched when I turned it on, but it doesn't respond to the battery
Who cares though when it's free, right?
Most of the time you'll hear about how they get store returns and they destroy them rather than keep them or hand them out. It's frustrating as hell, but once in a while you get lucky.
