Motor Trouble
iam having trouble putting my motor in my f-150. i put the stage two motor in and when i push the gas it just grinds. what did i do wrong

did you put the right spacer under the motor? i had that problem with an evo car.

i though all the spacers were the same

no they arent the smaller tooth, the thinner the spacer to make up the difference. i thought the same at first too. match them up and see how it works
|

also, when i first tried to put a s2 in my evo i didnt realize that gen1 s2's have the metal teeth and the evos must have the plastic teeth. Are u using an old s2 or did u buy a new one?

when u choose a teeth set u have to use the right combination, make sure that u put in the right big gear as well. It could be grinding cuz u didnt put the new big gear in too. Or if u didnt put the teeth on the motor hard enough and it stix out to far it will rub on the plastic casing, make sure that u push the teeth as far as they will go on the motors shaft. look inside when u have evrything together, see if everything is meshing right before u put the see through cover on and give it a little gas (or electricity  )
