Plan for my XMod
This is what I'm going to paint my XMod to look like. Any of you gamers out there might recognize it from GT4.

GAh! huge pic!
but yeah, i got that car in GT4 and love it! i actually thought of doing one, but that's a bit beyond me. are you just going with the paint, or are you going to put on that weird wide-bodykit thing on it too? that would be beast if you did. difficult and fragile tho... go for it.

I'm doing Forza Motorsport, and I'm considering doing a 3rd body in my current Forza supercar motif : all black with white tribal patterns. The catch is getting a really nice finish. There are tons of blues, greens, blacks, whites, etc., but getting a nice mix of metallic, mica, and/or deep/regular tint can add some complexity to the surface beyond the macro design. I've also heard good things about Duplicolor color shifting paint as well in that regard.
BTW: This is my new mantra: let your clearcoat dry a month. Seriously, I did a rush job of heavy layers that looked like crap after a week, but after drying 3 weeks, it's almost settled to a mirror shine
