now i have seen the tests with no load in the xmod science section which is a great list, however i don't see it as bing a good way to tell if it is safe. This is because it was tested a no load, shouldn't it be tested at stall so that you know the max amps that it would draw?
i was wondering this question on a few motors as well. running 3 cell li po like i am make for an ample current draw and under load carbon brushes dont stand a chance. i have fried a pair just messing around with my car on the counter. shouldnt have held it in place to see how much torque it had lol...
