pcb cover broken?
I picked up a 27mhz (wanted 49, but they dropped it?) Bigfoot ZZ-M on monday, man this thing's cool!
Anyway, looking at a few threads on here I realized that my pcb cover is broken where it's supposed to hook under the front body mount tab. One side is broken off flush with the top of chassis tub, the other is flush with the bottom of the body tab. The fragments weren't in the box, and I didn't break it. Must be the famed Radio Hack quality control...
This thing rocks, but in order to do the full suspension travel mod and some other stuff it looks like I'm gonna have to go hit RadioHack and have them swap.
Oh yeah, I just started at an Avionics overhaul shop, so I've got access to small bearing that were used and are basically considered trash now, so I'll probably start work making a ZZ-M with full bearings for the entire driveline.

Update, never got my lazy self to radio hack to get that broken cover swapped, but I picked up the very last Jeep Wrangler body in town (only 7 months after it was discontinued...) which needed that broken part removed from the ZZ-M chassis to fit correctly anyway, so life is VERY good.
