Panasonic 18650 & Toyota Supra
This info is right off the Panasonic web site
MODEL: CGR18650HG
Nominal Voltage: 3.6
Typical Capacity (mAH): 1800
Diameter inch (mm) 0.73 + 0/-0.03, (18.5 + 0/-0.7)
Height inch (mm) 2.56 + 0/-0.02, (65.0 + 0/-0.6)
Weight oz (g)1.48, (42)
Two of these in series will provide a nominal voltage of 7.2v. The stock battery holder is ~ 15mm wide but the width between the posts is only 57mm which is too short unless the posts were removed.
Can someone tell me what the dimensions are on the Li-ion batteries used by Atomic?
This info clearly shows the physical demensions of this battery is going to be too large for the Toyota Supra car unless some of the body is removed to acomadate the batteries. The 6 cell mod is better suited in this case unless Atomic's Li-ion batteries are physically smaller than the 18650s.
I would like to hear from other users with different cars than me and armed with the size of the 18650s do you think they will fit in your car?
Thank you for your time
