ok i bought one last night and ripped it apart and put the new motor in and juiced her up. well when i didnt have it running on the floor it sounded like it was firing up at full speed. then i put it on the floor and it wouldnt start. so i gave it a nudge and it wound up and started moving on its own. it seemed to be even worse in reverse. so i played with it without the axle on and it was doing the same thing. im pretty sure its just the lack of enough voltage.
however, the tomy battery seems to charge a little quicker and maybe give a higher current. and those white racing slicks are totally nice. so even tho i havnt been able to utilize the 26,000 motor yet the new battery and tires have made my ride a little faster and much more interesting to drive. i was racing it on a mirror and i was burning out for about a foot. i cant imagine this thing once i put a second battery in and a faster motor that sounds like a dental drill.
