Drifting tips

Any one out there willing to share tips on how to set up a drift xmod? So far I have a skyline w/ bodykit and drift tires. Planning to get 4wd and 2nd stage motors. Any comments?

Replace "Steam Forum" with "TinyRC Forum" and you'll get the idea.

here u go

i would say that if ur using an xmod u will have a hard time ripping the wheels off for a peel out so i would say get the drifting kit from radio shack and find the motor with as much torque as possible i heard the spinbrush mad works but i never tried since i am upgrading to mini z i will have to change this technique but wen i first started i did it on hard wood floors that i cleaned before starting:
step 1: clean floor
2: set up your car(super torkey motor, hard tires or taped tires, and a hard suspension in back and soft in front)
2: start out by doin single turn drifts for practice, as you come into the turn let off the gas about half way.
3: while your slinging around the turn with the momentum of the car at half throttle press the throttle all the way.
4: after you reach the point where you want to stop drifting let go of the throttle a little and the tires will regain grip.
5: coast out of the turn slowly accelerating and ur done!

DO NOT AT ALL PUT IT IN REVERSE!!!!! drifting was made so u dont loose too much speed around turns with a torky motor pressing the brakes and then gunning out of the turn will result in DONUTS.
