New engine
i have some idea's to put in a new engine im just wondering if anyone has tryed a 9V and making a new battery mount... would that work or would it just damage the gears becuase its to fast for the little plastic gears? i feel the need for power for drifting but not sure im using a stage 2 but no heat sink.... anyways anyone got tips for a 9V?

8.4 volts maximum on the stock PCB.
9 is stressing it.
You don't need all that power to drift.
A 4.7 fA cap on the batts and skill helps.

take apart your rear diff and fill it with glue....or you can put 2 pieces of paper in it if you dont want it to be permanent
but i warn you.....locking the rear diff does cause you do break rear cups a lot easier

The washer plate or "helical" diff works good.
There's a tutorial in the Science forum.
