New light kit idea...
Is there a way to alter the light kit chip to make turn signals?

that will be a kool idea but then who ever is already runnin fog lamps and extra rear lights, the battery will die much quicker.
I still think that it will be a kool idea

run the fogs off a different power source (watch batts., for example). there's a tip for that on the zipzaps site.
Add lights to your ZipZaps.
Here’s what you need to get your ZipZaps glowing!
• 2 LEDs: 80 MCD; 2.1 volts @ 20mA (RadioShack #276-351(shown) other colors available at your neighborhood RadioShack store)
• 1 CR2032 3V Lithium Battery (RadioShack #23-164)
Match the positive and negative ends of the LEDs to the appropriate side of the battery. If the lights do not come on, try switching the wires to the opposite side of the battery.
Secure the LED wires to the battery with tape.
Remove the suspension bar from the chassis.
Tape the battery onto the chassis and arrange the LEDs to their best fit.
Reattach the body top to the chassis.
To turn the LEDs off, remove tape or insert non-conductive material such as paper between the battery and wire.

well if a person is smart enough they would solder leads to the left and right leads on the servo pot. the pot will send the signal down the wire to tell the thing to turn on when it moves that way, then when it centers it would turn off. unfortunetly i dont have the knowhow to set up such a system. also you can try some micro switches. i found some at a local electronics shop that are about 5mm.

I don't think LED's take that much battery power, so would draining the batteries be an issue?
