ZIPZAP SE'S TO BOATS
i'm trying to make a zipzap se boat. i have a kit that you can make waterproof paper boats with. i'm making a chris craft boat, and taking apart the zzse. for steering, make a rudder out of the steering motor for the zzse, and for the motor, take a motor and solder wires coming from It into the motor holder in the back of the car. For power, i took out the rechargable batterry and am putting in 2 watch batterries.

Have you goten anywhere yet? Please keep us updated. You will probably have to spay silicone on the pc board or something to water proof it. You might want to spray it on the out side too so water dosnt come in.

No I dont have a diaghram. You cant really ask me much about zipzaps Im no expert. I dont know where evrey one else is, no ones commenting. HINT HINT Oh and isnt the zzse already a dual cell? So you wont be adding any power, youll just take weight of of the car, so you might want to do a tri cell. no one is helping me either TISK TISK

well...... i dont think the project will work then. i need to know where wires go. might as well forget about making it r/c, and just make a switch connected to a 3v battery and motor.

Walmart has "Motorworks" boats. I don't have one yet, but they're $15 and supposed to be really nice, NiCad batts like the cars. There was a post somewhere in the Bit CharG section about them.
