Its baaack.
Due to a total ghostland of a forum around here, I decided to post my Z's progress (not very different than the last time, but getting there), and my Skyline.
First up: Z updates

The RX-7 is just a model, a prize from a Japanese arcade, "Initial D Parts Collection FD3S", it has swappable wings/airdams and wheels. Its basically just..a paperweight.

LED's go right onto those three metal bars you see on the PCB. Painting..well..its just..eh. Primer it, and spray it on. Easy. If you want shine, use clearcoat gloss.

Anyone notice that the taillights seem brighter on the SS 2.0 bodies than the headlights? I wish they would have used white LEDs for the headlights instead of amber. The taillights also seem to make the lighter colored cars like the yellow skyline have a strange glow to them.

do you have to scrape the coloring off the headlights and tailights for the lights to work?
