I removed the cap from my Honda S2000's pcb but I don't see one on my controller. I checked both sides and don't see anything connected to the resistor at the far end. Do micro sizers use one crip cap either in the car or the controller? Or do they use two caps with one in the receiver and one in the transmitter?
I've looked at some of the crip cap photos and both sides of my transmitter board so what do I do now?

I dont think my Microsizer Controller has a crip cap either because I dont have the cap that is shown in all the removal tutorials.
Although it is possible that they moved it to somewhere less noticable
Mine didn't look like it had one at first glance, but then I studied the controller PCB closely and it was there, just threaded through some holes. I just cut it and moved the cut legs away from each other. Then changed the aerial on the bit for about 7" of Cat5 and voila, about a 30m range
