I'm Back

since september of last year i had left the micro r/c world for 2 reasons
1. i found something called the mini-t and have now spent over $600 on it
and
2. RS was really getting on my nerve....first a crappy ZZse and then the i got with 4 foot range X-mods

well now i am back with an xmod...gave RS one last chance with them....and a ZZ....cause every se i get dies in 2 seconds

and the xmod i tried out....the 350z

well now to the pics cause i know thats what u want

HERE it is...this is after an hour...
and here are 2 pics of it and my ZZ project

and last but not least...i end with a question....what size motor is the xmods motor...for example....the mini-ts motor is a 280 size

ya i did
i painted with a normal paint,gloss black, and then used a poly-car. paint known as indy silver...which has a lot of silver flakes...but recently i screwed up that paintjob while tring to detail it...so i did a better repaint of it
and i also painted the spoilier in the same process...because i need somthing to out my candy red paint...and due to humidity it got screwed up...so it went black

ya i still thinking it over...
the paint i will be using is made for poly-carbonit bodies...and it seems to leave little areas of orange specks on it
and it just rained here so i cant paint...i will try iton the side skirts first
i was also thinking of a headlight and taillight mod

wuts the brand of the paint? r u doing a basecoat, or are u gonna paint straight over the copper paint like i did?

i used the red duplicolor metalcast

i am gonna paint over the existing paint due to the fact it is a great color for under candy
the brand of paint is from pactra

cool man. over on the other forums some people are not liking my paintjob because i used the original 350z color as the basecoat. i told them that the copper would make a sweet effect on the candy paint. One guy on this forum in the gallery suggested that i use red for the basecoat??



are these people clueless?

no i dont have aim...but i do have msn mess.

just finished my first upgrade...a 180 motor
the body is slowly becoming a candy color....stupid rain
after that i smell a wheel mod and 5 cell mod coming up
and with the wheel mod i mean a non-xmods rim and tire...maybe event spinners....i wish
just dont ask me what rims yet cause i dont know yet...i gotto go to wal-mart and both of my lhs
