Question about Motors and pulling the Pinion off...
Hey, I have a really quick question. How do you pull the Pinion (Brass Gear) from the motor without using a pinion puller? I tried heating it then sticking a butter knif under it and tried to push it, but it wouldn't budge, anyone know what I can do to make this work? I mean this is all i need to do so that my custom motor will be finished.
Thanks, Ryan

Heat it more, push it harder. There's not much of a safe way to do it other than a puller, they're not designed with removal in mind.

Im not sure, maybe some after market motors.....Another quick question, how would i go about putting the pinion back on and making it fit in the right place? Is the puller capable of putting it back on?
