better antenna
i was bored last night and decided to make a decent antenna for my car to stop the stuttering. i had an old clock radio laying around with a soft wire anntena and "borrowed" the anntena then i swiped the antenna tube from my broken buggy and trimmed it to about 8 inches and made the wire about 9 inches. Then i stripped the wire on the first half inch on the bottom and made a loop to screw to the car and left the rest of the extra hanging out of the top of the tube to make the tube work i had to enlarge the hole in the body a little but now i can drive more than 6 feet without it stuttering i can dirve about 25 feet

the mount
i made the mount for my new antenna. first file the notch in the back body mount a little bigger for clearance then get a piece of thin plastic and cut it long enough to wrap around the original antenna mount and the new antenna at the same time then poke a hole through and put a small screw in so that it will hold the plastic around the mount and antenna tightly then put the part of the wire that was stripped down the notch in the back of the antenna mount and put theantenna it self up against the notch tighten the screw and make sure the antenna is snug. thats it.

how about some pics? but did you tune it? as in measure the antenna and make the new antenna 1X, 2X, 3X, etc.? not the actual range.
