Any insiders got any info on the Radio Shack Xmod Lap Counter?
Like....
Is RS really coming out with one?
Any info on a Time Table? 2004?
Any Tech details?(transponder? Laser Flag type?<--hope not)
Any Software info? Sound effects? USB?

RS will do more for the RC world with a nice affordable lap counter, than they will ever know.

i saw this thread and was wondering if u could use a microsizers lap counter because those cost like 3.50 at kmart.

I have heard no new information. I am very interested in this as well. Some on the forums have made their own lap counters. I would like a unit that tracks each car's radio freq.

Come on Radio Shack! The Xmod/MiniZ world is in desperate need of a affordable transponder type Lap Counter, w/ PC interface.
