What is everyones opinion on Atomic Mods' lithium upgrade?

anyone here have it?


im thinking about ordering it....i like the idea of playing for 45+minutes straight and 8.4 volts?!?

It looks like a good setup.

You save a little weight, I think thats mostly the point.

You however have to buy (or make) a charger to charge them though.

I don't think it is going to run longer than a set of IC3s, but it will certainly be faster.

i dont know how long IC3s run but on his website he says that the lithiums will last a good 45mins-1hr of hard running and with the charger i got with the kit it only takes about an hour to fully charge




i just ordered it this morning.

AND i just did the hybrid SB mod with my stage 2 10 tooth. this thing is gonna haul ASS! i need awd though...

Well... Compare (4)AAAs x 1.2v =4.8v to (2)AA x 3.6 =7.2(depending on which Li Ions you buy) The 4 AAAs weight more than the 2 AAs....

The only real downside to the Li Ions is price. I think thats whats holding most people back.

I plan to make a $100+ order for the Pro Li Ion kit, charger, ect within the month. Its a much more effecient way to make power compared to stacking countless batteries on your car that simply kill handling.

My IC3s do not last aslong as the regular green Radio shack nihms..dunno why @.@.But ill say this for Atomic mods..great site and if i had the money id definatly check go there for a lithium setup
