naw.....its a piece of $hit.....of course its good, in fact, I think its better than good, its awesome! The only downside is that a rolling chassis(no electronics) is $100 dollars(by the way, its a kit, not prebuilt). Total it costs about $500 if you get good parts and want a fast car. if you dont care, than itll cost about $300, but it doesnt go very fast.

add a radio, esc, and a servo and it all adds up. Also, the price of the kit is included in the $300 to $500. Another thing, when RC Car Action reviewed the car, the "dislike" was that it had a plastic motor mount, so thats another pricey upgrade(aluminum is expensive for RC cars).

Do you even have one?

Speed300= $22
6cell pack= $18
Kit=$100
Charger=$30
Radio=$40
ALuminum MotorMount=$19
Mini Servo= $24
Mini ESC= $45

$298 and that is a "hooked up" car. You don't need $500 unless your going for that graphite look (unneccesary).

And trust me when I say $300 for a car of this quality is amazing!

Here's how mine added up:

Base Kit= $100
Modified motor= $35
2 NiMH 5 cell battery packs= $40
Charger(NiMH Compatible)= $80
Radio: $100
Micro servo= $30
ESC(Novak SPY)= $75
GPM Alum. Motor Mount= $19
Total: $479

Not necessary so its not included:

Extra body= $15
Paint= $10
Light kit= $25

Grand Total: $529
My car goes 27.8 mph. Radar tested.

P.S. most micro ESC's dot work with above a 280 size motor.

Uz Gonna get OWeNed!

Xray kit= $100
http://www.raincityraceway.com/

6 Cell pack=$18
http://www.blindbatts.com
or here
http://urc.planetrocke.com/store/product.asp?ID=91

Aluminum Motor Mount=$19
http://urc.planetrocke.com/store/product.asp?ID=94

Mini Servo=$24
http://urc.planetrocke.com/store/product.asp?ID=113

Mini ESC
R18=$45
http://www.ipdracing.com/products.htm

Lynx Pistol Grip Radio=$40
http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/prod...prod=HRC124751

Speed 300 (Really a 370 size motor)=$12*THis will be as fast if not faster than a modified 180 motor {and you pay less}
http://urc.planetrocke.com/store/product.asp?ID=26

Charger=$24 (Nimh compatible, contrary to the note, it can charge 2/3a)
http://www.minirchobbies.com/index.a...ROD&ProdID=225

The m18 does indeed take 6 cell.. inline. You have to slightly modify the battery hold down with a dremel or hobby knife. Thats it.

Extra body=Not neccessary, but $15
Paint 3 colors (get createx same as fastcolor but cheaper)=$10

Why weigh your car down and waste battery life for a light kit? But fine.. $25
