New guy important Q : buying one , what to look for ?

I found someone selling a Bit Char G Booster Skyline , with a controller and an extra 3.0 motor , He says the car has a turbo button too . I thought you have to buy a seperate controller for that and a booster thingy seperately or is that what he means by "booster skyline" ? also the picture shows the car as transparent plastic and not coloured , is that normal ?as you can see I'm not very familiar with this but REALLY want to have one .
please tell me what kinda Q's to ask the guy. he's asking 35 shipped for it and it sound like a good price for a new one .
any input is great

Anyway, they are probably selling the Booster Skyline (chassis only) and the 4-band remote because the chassis alone is useless without the remote. All booster cars at the moment come with a clear Skyine body. $35 shipped sounds pretty good.

If it's r10725 (aka Jo), I'd ask him for the 3.8 motor instead of the 3.0. Many people have problems with 3.0 motors, but I haven't had any problems with my 3.8. The 3.8 is not a Tomy product, but it fit/works. Jo upgraded my motor for free (all I had to do was ask).
