The orange is probably sprayed on thin enough that they still show through. Pretty easy to do when the base color is silver, like the RSX is.

Hey, thank you guys for your comments. This was my first paint job and I feel that it turned out really nice. I just wish you could see the fade in it, maybe i'll try a different camera w/out a flash in good lighting, anyway I used an airbrush and the reason why the badges are still there is because of the thin layer as neurokinetik said. Thanks again for all the comments.
