Modding a Porsche?
Has anyone ever tried modding the basic porsche 911? I have a few cars and the porchse just looked like crap compared to the FF ones, so I figured i'd make somewhat of an attempt at modding it into looking a little bit better
I started off by using an exacto knife to lower the front of the car about 2mm or so, then used the knife to carve out some of the front tire part so the tires could steel and run without scratching against the car.
then I looked at how pathetic the spoiler was on the basic porsche, so (this is where it got kind of messy) i chipped away at the spoiler until it was about as flat as it could go before punching an actual hole though it, then poked two holes for an actual zipzap spoiler to go into (fits great!). it didn't turn out too smooth, but unless you're up real close, it looks normal.
then It looked kind of bland so I took out some black paint and painted the hood of the car black (like the FF Eclipse because it looks so cool on it) which make it look pretty nice. then i painted the trim around the bottom of the car black to finish it off.
It's nothing spectacular but i think it's a pretty good attempt for my first mod! ill try to get some pics up if anyone cares, but my cam's kinda messed :P

The Porsche zz body was designed to look like the new 996 twin turbo car.
Notice that the wheels that come on the Porsche zz are actually styled after the wheels that come on the current issue mustang cars. Now look at the wheels that come with the mustang zz cars. They are styled after the turbo twist wheels found on many new Porsche cars.
Looks like there might have been a mixup at the production head. I doubt anyone would care other than Porsche enthusiasts like myself but it's triva for those that are interested.
Best wishes,
Gary
