Range and Wires
i took the wires from the plug that goes to the light kit from my old electronics and put them on my new electronics. i used them to replace the 3 wires between the 2 PCB's. i now have no range. would the wires shorten the range or did i solder something wrong?

Its possible you fried the reciever.

damn it! oh well guess i got another set of extra parts
this is getting expensive. i better stop playing with them.
