New Celica Yay!

I just picked up a microsizers pro Celica GTS. It's great, I love the turbo button, but I want to make it even faster. Where is the best place to pick up the bit pro perfection 4.2 motor, sink, and matching battery? I found a few on ebay, but was wondering if I can find some for cheaper or a place with smaller shipping charges. Also, do you need a FET mod to run the 4.2? I would like to stay away from the PCB board if at all possible, but I would like to do an internal 2nd cell...the only thing is that I want it to look stock at the track.

Also what is the best motor in everyone's opinion?
I have been browsing and have seen that the Spec R and Formula 34 looks promising, and is availiable here from Tiny RC, but does the perfection 4.2 motor smoke them?

I've never raced a 4.2 vs. the TRC motors, but the 4.2 is a good motor for me. But I've heard that the TRC motors have exellent torque without a large trade-off in speed. All three (4.2, R-Spec II, and Formula 34) are great motors. No the 4.2 doesn't need an FET mod to run, but I'd consider getting one done to your car. If you send it here then you can have it done for you. The FET mod is just as good as an Internal dual cell exept it is lighter so you would actually have better acceleration. Another major plus is that it looks almost completely stock, whereas a internal dual cell would require you to flip the PCB board over.

Where did you pick up your 4.2 from? and also do you have the turbo button on your microsizer?
Also do you mean TRC 3.8, because I can't seem to find the 4.2. I found several 3.8s though (TRC 3.8, Bit Char-G 3.8, Pro Perfection 3.8)
Also can someone fill me in on the difference between the
'Tomy' motors and the 'Bit Char-G' Motors. I thought they were the same but I am thinkin not now.

This one looks promising
Pro Perfection 4.2 + 200mah Nihm
and this one looks really good too for the price
bit char-G 3.8 Motor + 150mah Nihm

There is also an auction for 2 batteries and 2 3.8 bit char-gs along with some other goodies but doesn't end for a week.

i would go with toyeast for the 4.2 because you get two at a really good price and if you want batteries pick them up there as well, i'm not 100% on this but the motor name like bit char-g and tomy are the same just some people call it differently it should still be the same product
