I did the same thing last night. How did you secure the front, which xmod did you start with? I started with the supra and the front clip is too wide. With the slot sitting on the clip it fits good, but how did you do yours.I have velcro on the sides.

It looks even better than I thouhgt it would. It's no the Civic chassis, right? And are those Skyline wheels?

yeah it's the skyline, but i used the civic front clip for some extra clearence, and it was easy enough, i put velcro on it but i only put the fuzzy side on the batt clips, so it fits nice and snug, the rear i just put a post in between the 2 suspension mounts and put some foam on it so that it didn't scratch the body.

How would it look if you put the rear wheels on backwards so they filled the rear fender wells a bit more?

Just a suggestion...

yeah, i'm planning on modding the mini-z wheels that cam with it, they have a bigger offset so they will fit the rear wheel wells just fine, but i was thinking about that option too.

i actually fabricated a rear mount, i took the clip that came with the miniz and atatched it to the body cli of the xmod and it fits perfectly now.

How did you get the mini z wheels to fit? Did you modify the center of the wheel to allow for the "D" shape? I'm thinking about purchasing a couple sets of wheels and then using either epoxy (for plastic wheels) or JB Weld (for metal ones) to fill in the round hole and create the "D" shape with an extra driveshaft.

Please, do tell how you got the wheels to work and post a couple of pics, if possible.
