airplane radio set

will a esc,servo,receiver and radio transmitter package from a remote control airplane work witha xmod (if i can fit it inside) the reason i ask is because those escs can run like 12 cells

It would most likely fit the problem is it is illegal to use an air plane frequency in a ground vehicle.You can sometimes send in the receiver to have it reset to a land frequency at a small cost then you can use a land transmitter with it.

ok well then instaed can i use the airplane esc and servo, with a land vehicle receiver?

OK I went back and dug up this link since this has been talked about before.
airplane electronics in XMod

It is a good idea to use the airplane electronics in an Xmod and I wish I could find a super tiny airplane receiver that I could have converted to land use.I have looked at the Electrifly combo receiver/ESC but the tech from ELECTRIFLY told me it can not be converted to land use.
