aight....short tutorial

1. u need a zz se and u need the command logic lights for the xmod.
2. pull the headlights off the light pcb from the zz se and strip the wires about half way.
3. since the zz se lights are small and have small leads, cut the headlights off the command logic set about 2 inches from the tip of the light.
4. separate the strands and strip the wire about an inch.
5. now the kind of tricky part.....turn on ur xmod with the command logic plugged in....make sure the controller is on 2 so the lights come on.....u need to match up the leads so the positives and negatives are lined up.
6. twist the leads together and electric tape them together. do the same for each light.
7. test the lights and then ur oFF!!!!

a better tutorial would be badcompanies...except instead of using 2 command logic kits use one kit and a set of zipzap se lights heres the link to bad companies if he doesn't mind.... http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthr...threadid=14427

Thumbs up ...Hummm

Very good idea using the zz-se led's. Are the zz's led's smaller than the x-mods led's. I've got a zz in front of me but I don't have the lights for the x's just yet...(I can't find them anywhere...sold-out!). It looks like a very very good job to me...

Yes the ZZ lights are WAYYYY smaller than the X's. Although, I am looking at these ZZ light kit and It looks like a smaller version of X's. Even the plug in is the same. I am going to try to splice the ZZ lights plug with the X's plug and see if it will light them all up.............(reason behind this?)
Because then you have the extra break lights and fog lights all ready made up. just need to lengthen the wires.? Any one think it will work? If not let me know before i start cutting...LOL

the size of the zz lights vary. my savannah came with 3mm leds while my mercedes came with surface mounts.

im still confused about how the zipzap lights are brighter than the xmod ones. any ideas?
