Nimh Doppelakku N2h 100 Ohne Lf
I have found on Conrad a 2.4V NiMh 100mAh with 15,5x11,6 mm size.
Not sure which is the diameter, and which is the length.
Anybody know this small akku ?
In good case, with 11,6 Diameter, no problem to put in the Bit right ?
In bad case, with 15,5 diameter, it will need some workaround, like reverse the PCB ?
The cost of the akku is just 3.5$

P.S: On conrad are available (but not throw internet) the NiMh button batteries, for instance there is a nice 1.2V NiMh 43mAh 12x6 mm, with 12 diameter, so just get two, put in series, and here is a 100% correct size Bit battery.

Got my 2.4V bat today.
Bad luck, it is 15.5 diameter x 11.6 !
So I'm going to put it flat inside my car, plus add a little wire.
The bat look like a watch cell, but in bigger size. It doesn't look too much heavier then a regular bat, and for sure is lighter then 2 bat. So for 3.75€ it is a good investment.
Also from Conrad I got a nice antenna for just 0.72€ for my 4 channel.
Plus 4 Bat NiMh 130mAh for just 3.75€ each.
My Crappy OEM will try first the new bat, if it success, the booster will be the next, and it will be a real turbo booster !

P.S: Soon I will be involved in races, so, I shuold be able to smoke everybody !

Hi Bit-Racer.de
Just tested yesterday night.
Since the bat it is a fully metal outside I had to first solder a connection (It must to putted flat) and then I cover it with a isolationg scotch.
I just putted on my bullet so far, since it was already prepared to bigger bat !
With a clean work it could be putted in a standard bit, just cutting the little vertical supported for "fix" the Tomy bat
I have tested my OEM remote, and increasing the power to 4.5V I can get more then 3V on the charging for the car, so no extra work for make a custom charger (since my OEM remote can handle power line in).
The OEM is a pretty crappy car, noisy, till with its original crappy engine, by default it is slow like a hell.
Addind the 2.4V bat (fully charged it reach 2.95V) the car start to have some better life:
- Top Speed is about +50 % (it could be more but lot of power go in noise and bad electronic) (my "standard" Booster with 3.0 it is till faster)
- Accelleration is about +20% (it is more heavy)
- Nice stability
- Very good range, due to the 4.5V on remote and 2.4V on car: I putted the antenna inside.
Since my work on the OEM wasn't very clean I till have to run the car with a sort of open top, but with a nice work it is possible to put everything inside.
I tested the power of the batter when the car is "running", and the V just drop of 0.1V, to me look a good bat !
The running time it is till pretty nice, over 5min (even more not checked)
Ok the ID , it is from Conrad.at, but as far I have tested the Conrad.at IDs are the same of Conrad.de:
2.4V Bat : 250208-62 (I have been on the Wien Conrad shop (pretty big one) but it was not available and even no idea if it will be ever on stock there, so just possible to get on the NET !)
1.2V 120mAh (130mAh) Bat : 250313-62 (it is 100% perfect for the Bit, very very cool)
Antenna : 460579-62 (need a 1min work to adapte it on the 4 band controller, the ant it is pretty long, the range now is more then dubble with my NiMh bat, while testing, the bat where just at 1.3V power ) : I have more then 6m range with low power NiMh
Not 100% sure the "big" 2.4V is the way to go, the main advantage of the bit is that they are very light, but one for test isn't a big investment !
I'm going to test as well a couple of Micro bat 1.2V : 254207 / 253405 (just discovered these later from the paper catalog, the online catalog is a crap !)
Just a question, since I'm not a German native : what the hell is the Lötfahne ????

you increased the power on the remote to 4,5V? And you haven't killed it? Need to test this tonight!! I already realized that remote range is better when using standard batteries (1,5V each) than yousing recharable (1,2V). But i wasn't man enough to go higher. Will test it tonight with my Nissan History Set, cos range is really crappy and it hasn't a cripplecap to be removed .
What oem do you use (what motor spec)? 50% of more top speed seems not much to me and its not as fast as a 3.0 motor car?
Ususally the OEMs already have fast motors, mostly about 2.6- 3.0.
Im running a 2.4V Dual on a Leyu Bullet OEM thaz comes with 3.0motor and know it just flys. No way for my Tomy with Speedgear and 3.8 to get it.
Lötfahne - it is a little copper-plate attached to the bat where you can solder your wires to.

Hi,
I don't know for sure which OEM I have.
Compare to a real bit is a full crap.
I got some months ago on Gift4All at the airport shop in London, where I first met a micro-r/c . Since I was going back an force to London for 6 months (Monday to Friday) I have first seen there a Palm Can Auldey (or soemthing similar) , and I thought, it is nice, but it is too much a toy for a old not 100% grown guy ! Then in one month I seen the Bit OEM, and I saied my-self I want it ! Luckily or Unluckily it was availabe in a since freq, so I ust got one for a robbery price of 19.95 Pound.
Later I have seen there also the SAMRTLAND, and I got all the 4 ID, at that time the SMARLAND IR were looking cool, faster and with prop-power and this time cheaper, only 17 Pound, but till a robbery.
So I think my OEM is a Bensu Bullet, and/or also named DTR (Desk top racer) it has a black circle controller with a telescopic antenna.
I have put in a standard plug in for a AC/DC 3V power supply, and the remote has successfully passed the test of a crappy AD/DC that was able to fry one of my SMARTLAND remote ! Got the trashy 3.8V AC/DC with 900mAh for just 1.5 Euro, but it is a killer AC/DC !
So no problem to go up to 4.5V, that in reality means 6V with low charge like the 99% of the usage of the controller.
The power supplay that I use is a cheap AC/DC from 3V to 12V with max 800mAh, that cuold be nice for prevent possible damage! I started with a 5 Euro 300mAh, then I got the 800mAh for just 7 Euro !
I think I have also tried out for few second to go up to 6V without fry anything, but 4.5V is very ok.
My OEM look like it is an unlucky ONE, the motor doesn't look more then a 1.0, it is heavy, and the handly is far to be good, I have fixed to go straight, but on reverse it go in a noticiable curve. The original tyres where very crappy.
Even if it is my first bit, it can die for a nice experiment !
Good luck

I can put any body on it. actually i putted my Tomy Supra on it. because all the stuff fits in the chasis you don't get into trouble with fitting bodies.
