MS Pro controller question
Hey all, I'm kinda new at the whole mini-RC thing. Got an Xmod a couple of weeks ago, and a MS yesterday.
On the back of my controller, theres a little picture of a motor and a pinion, and an arrow pointing to a little hole next to it.
What's the hole for??

Its to help you install your pinion. If you get a motor with a seperate pinion, you put the pinion in the hole and slide the motor onto it

Wow, that was quick, thanks.
I guess I should of thought of that.
Another thing, is the pinion the same on all the motor/gear combo's?

For all the microsizer gears it is, but with other gearsets (axles & Transfer gears), it might be different. The pinion should fit even if it is a different company's, because most pinions are the same size.
