I'm going to order a new body for my X-Mod (My current body is rather beat up and messed up by dinkering.) I was also going to make a police car. I have already figured out how to add flashing red & blue lights, and have some lights in the front flash. All I need now is a siren... I am also going to make police decals & a custom plate. My car is still several months away. The replacement bodies are backordered till March or so. I will be tinkering on the grafx tho. I already have the light electronics done. (My test car only has one flashing Red & Blue light on the top, my finished police car will have 2)

Relax!!! There has GOT to be 1,000's of ways of making a police car. I am not that good at painting and such so it will take me MONTHS of tinkering to get everything JUST right! (Besides I need a few more X-Mod light kits... And they are out of stock too.)
You have time to come up with the electronics. Besides you may get your hands on a siren before me! Or even more realistic lights. It is all good.
I am using stuff from the dollar store (Except the paint) for lights and such.
Oh Attached is an animation of my prototype car. (The weird thing on the back window is a lazer pointer to attraact the cat)

This is my prototype car. It is all beat up. The only reason it looks good there is because the animation is small.
However I am proud of the fact I got a flashing light on top & front lights like alot of real police cars. Now if I could only get a body and a siren... That would KICK BUTT!!! (Besides a relitive is a probation officer and one of her co-workers is an ex cop. If I were to make a police car out of an X-Mod he would go NUTZ, and probably ask me to make him one too. )

It is only fun for a while to chase the cat, it is MORE fun to have the cat chase you! The cat goes NUTS for just a lazer pointer, I cannot wait to test this on Saturday. If interested I'll post my mod (In a seperate thread). I doubt that many people are trying to get a cat to chase their car. But you never know!!!!

When I get the new body painted, new decals made, and all the wiring done I WILL post finished pics, as well as what I used for what, and how I did it all. But till I get it finished... You will just have to guess.
