Ebay Matrix car - Paint job - How???
Ebay Matrix car - Paint job - How???
Before the flame wars got the thread closed - I had a question
http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthr...threadid=17221
How did they paint the car like that?
Printed images on paper or stickers, then painted the car to match? But it looks so smooth. Can't be hand painted, because it look like official Matrix print and logos.
Any ideas on this? Or a good How to?
No flaming please.
Thanks!

I guess my main question is:
How do they blend the edges of the stickers so well that it looks seemless?

If you use waterslide decals, and trim them with a hobby knife around the edges before applying, then spray clearcoat over the whole body, it is possible to hide the edges pretty well.
