Okay, err, xmodsman, howabout... The... Yeah, just get a dremel and cut slots above the stock noes but make sure it fis afterwards. Or glue pieces of packaging plasic to the sides/bumpers to make them look like sideskirts, sand well, paint, voila... put in another bit battery, wired in series... how easy do you want it?You know what, just go to rcmod. They have a lot of easy and harder mods, step by step processes, some for xmods too

ZZ wheel Swap
Rear-Replace axle with ZZ axle
Front-Take off the clear PCB cover, and Lift the PCB board (Not too much, you don't want to break those steering wires, trust me!). Right underneath the front of the PCB board is a small screw, unscrew it. When it is unscrewed, take the front cover off the car (this may be somewhat tricky, because the cover also latches in the front of the car, so you have to pull back and then up). When you get under it, there should be three parts, 2 knuckles, and a magnet-holder thingy that connects to the top of the knuckles. Pull those three parts out, noting the direction the white part of the knuckles are pointing. Open your ZZ car with the same procedure, and remove the wheels/knuckles. Replace the Bit char-G knuckles with the ZZ ones, and put everything back together, being sure to line everything up where they go into holes. NOTE: you may have to Dremel out behing the wheel because of the added diameter of the ZZ wheelset, or else the wheels may bind when they turn sharply. You may also need to dremel out the wheelwells on certain cars, because they may only be large enough for the small Bit wheelset
These instructions can be reversed if you want to give a ZZ a Bit Char-G wheelset too.
As long as these instuctions are, in my opinion this is the easiest visual appearance mod besides swapping bodies. I did this mod and it only took ~5 minutes.
