Do timing capacitors work in ZZ's?

I just finished buying springs for my ZZ PT Cruiser from QFM's website and I came across this: http://tinyrc.com/qfm/racing/026.htm

It is a charge capacitor for the controller on a bit which peaks the battery. My question is if anyone knows if this will work in a ZZ, and if it does, how do I do it? If this does work, I will be buying one. If no one has tried it in a ZZ yet, please point me towards the Bit instructions, and I may just give it a shot in the ZZ.
