Talking Get a custom painted car body

Hey,

I have been subscribed to this site before, but have not used it in quiet a while. But, don't go on think that this is my first post.

I enjoy painting models and else such, & I just recently discovered the fun that painting the zz's & se's can be. I need to practice, but I've almost perfected the art. If someone wants to have this done, then e-mail me what you want done with it & I'll see what I can do. If possible then I'll show you what it'll look like with paint or another program. Get back to me & I'll get back to you!

Sincerely,
zzpropainter

P.S.
The actual painted body will of course cost a small fee. I'm not going to be doing this for profit so much as for the pleasure. So, I'll be charging mainly for the supplies.I will also be making a new website and adding more posts on it. Keep your eyes open!

As a fellow painter. What paint type do you use (something that can go through an airbrush though)? Everything thus far scratches off easily.

Actually that is what I am using also. Scratches right off. You need a more chemically bonding type of paint.

How are you guys removing the old paint and prepping the surface for the new paint?Maybe some careful scuffing with scotchbrite would give the paint something to bite on.
I also have a couple of bodies to paint and would like to know more.

I don't even bother removing the old paint. It usually causes more harm than necessary. I just wash the body off with dish soap and warm water, rinse, and let it dry.

I have been using testors model paint and a little paint brush. It for some reason just hasn't turned out right.

Well of course it hasn't turned out right you are supposed to use an air brush. And your little ghetto car was so ugly just thought i would add that. It was a great idea but man learn to paint
