pinion gear question....
hey all.. i was wondering... i'm going to get a 12 tooth pinion gear for my SB motor, but do you have to buy another gear that the pinion gear turns, or can you use the stock RS one? Please let me know, i'm still kinda a noob at this.

you can use the rs one, just make sure that the 12-tooth properly meshes with the gear. I'd use the blue one.

I already used the blue gear. Can I use the white one, or is there anywhere I can buy a replacement???

Good luck, I have yet to find a pinion that is the same pitch that the XMods use.
48 is too small. 32 is too big. 42 is very hard to find, and still is not good, or exact.
I may have to buy another set of stage 1 motors to sacrifice. Or I guess I could rewind them, and put them on EBay, keeping the pinions for my own uses...

That doesn't say what the pitch is, so there is no way of telling...
