Rocking out

If you get stuck in a crack or a rug where only one of the rear wheels is thouching the ground. If you are to lazy like me and you dont want to get up to lift it out of the crack, switch into low throttle rev it, then switch it into high throttle so it rocks out of the crack. Its been working for me, hopefully it works for you.

revving a motor without load isn't good for it. also, the range on these cars is limited so walking over and getting it shouldn't be a big problem.

Ok, thanks for the warning about revving. I dont rev it much though. Also when I sit down on my sofa to drive and I got comfortable, I aint getting up.

damn so i guess i shouldnt be driving on my dusty garage floor. from a dead stop my civic sits there for at least 1 second until the tires start gripping. but its awsome to show people.

Revving w/o heavy load on the motor is not going to hurt it. It has a load - the drivetrain. This is enough to keep it from damaging itself.

My range is good enough that I have a hard time telling what direction the car is facing when it is running...

no. trust me. that isnt' enough load. u need the load of the friction against the ground. i got a tmaxx like 4 yrs ago or something and i always kept it off the ground cause it sounded like i was street racing a motorcycle. well, after a month, it died just like my elec 4tec did doing the same thking. now that i have my rustler, i never even run it in the air unless im clearing the engine in a race.

the motor get's jacked. high rpm running isn't good for a motor. it puts excessive wear on the motor. like would u sit at the stoplight and rev ur engine for 10 minutes? wait. so would i. but just the same, revvin it hurts it.
