Lightbulb Rear suspension upgrade idea...

Just a thought, nothing more at this point...

What if we could adapt over the XMods front suspension setup to the rear of the car?

The rear suspension has a couple of big disadvantages, namely the big camber changes as the suspension travels, and also the fixed toe setting. If the front pieces could be adapted over (would require at least a new rear chassis piece) then the toe could be adjusted through adjustable inks, and the camber would stay the same throughout the suspension's travel.

I was thinking about doing this and trying to get some four wheel steering going on. I didn't want to post about it because I didn't want to sound like one of those "Try my idea and tell me if it works" guys :P

Anyhow, yes, it will take a new rear section and some voodoo with the gears. It can't be an exact copy of the front section because of the body mounts, and there's also the drive train to worry about.

sounds good, if you ever do this post some pics... for my car ive got stiff allround but the rear springs are stretched, but they would keep poping apart.. so i cut a strip of plastic from the awd packaging and screwed to the shocks mounting screws which solved the prob by limiting the shocks movement.
