stage 2 yellow bevel gear with Stage 2 red motor?

yea i lost my red stage 2 bevel gear but i really wanna use my red motor can it run fine still if i used the red motor with the SII yellow bevel gear? i dunno if its bad for my car but i just want to know i just returned my old defective skyline and got a new one now this one the atenna reception is horrible i lose reception after sorry 20 feeteven can anyone help? ST. RANGe is on max the antenna and crystals are all plugged in snuggly. Please help

You could install it and see how if it rolls smoothly, its worth a try.

Have you tryed a new 9V for you controller?

I dunno i tested my 9v battery and its still in the good zone on my tester so i dunno im gonna go get another new 9v and see, if it still doesnt work, i wonder waht the guy at radio shack is gonna think when i return the car i just got that replaced my old one from yesterday

That combination may not work properly, but you should be able to use the white gear with the red motor. Just use the small washers from RS under the motor mount if it doesn't turn freely. Keep in mind your gear ratio will change. if you use anything but the red gear.
