Newbies!: Level two engine upgrade.

I just installed the lv2 yellow motor and gear. I had to take apart the whole drivetrain. This took a little while, as did trying to push the heat sink in and reatach the motor. It was a little complicated taking apart the driveshaft and everything. Also, a guy at the shack said that I need the xmods batteries to get full power. Another thing- attach the heat sink to the engine before you screw the engine in...

RatShack LIES! Buy your batteries from anyone but them (and make um NiMHs, at least 700mah).

I use 700 mah NiMh AAA batteries from Energizer. They rock. And the charger looks cool, it does AA or AAA with this two level thing which the bottom AAA is sideways and the - goes on the top and + on the bottom. With lights for when each battery charges. M_M

yea. i have that too!.there are nice.but i charge wit a different charger cuz this is the same but charges AA.
