About the Spinbrushmotor

I was just thinking about something I HAVE NOT read about the spinbrush motors. if it only takes 1 or 2 at the most AA or AAA to run it (I have yet to get one), then wouldnt it overload the motor with 4 to 6 AAA's? This might be another reason it has so much torque. I was just thinking about this b/c no one has posted anything about this before.

That's the reason the brushes are supposed to be changed when using that motor...

What happens if you dont change the brushes?
how hard is it to change the brushes?
what does changing the brushes do?

i took an old stage one motor that i destroyed tryin to take the pinion off of an i took the whole back plastic part with the brushes and all an just stuck on the back of the spinbrush motor
so far so good
