...and back to the original post..
If you have a dremel cut along the sides of the tooth brush along the seams. Then pull the two sides apart. Oh, remove the bats first and be careful pulling it apart the plastic might bite your fingers.

Are you guys using the spinbrush motor with a heatsink or bare? If you are not using a heatsink does the motor run real hot? The spinbrush motor is probably built by the same company that makes rc car motors (mabuchi, best motors...) it just has different specs to meet the needs of an electric toothbrush. If it just happens to work well in an xmods so be it.

Actually, I have never gotten the spinbrush motor to get hot. I guess it's because it's made to be a consumer product, and most people don't like holding a hot toothbrush

Uh, listen man..either way you cut it Mr. RSX, ITS A FRICKING PLASTIC TOY. Its meant for having fun with, not for serious flame wars over performance, don't you think people like me have a good laugh over people using "Dentist Gas" in their real cars for performance? Do I walk around dissing their performance part though, No. As long as its working, and it really is boosting their power, that is all that matters. Same goes for people using the Spinbrush mod, I think its a pretty sweet idea. I've noticed the motor technology in alot of other places, but never thought to look inside a toothbrush, and as long as the results don't lie, use whatever you can to make your plastic toy run like a bat out of hell. Don't get so defensive over something so dumb. Thats all I've got to say.
