Sweet.... think I'll have to check that out soon I was interested in micro flight for a little bit, and heard about those IR controllers, but it always has been over my head
EDIT: WHOA!! I just looked at their address and they are just 20 minutes from me!! hehehe, gonna have to pay them a visit Thanks for posting that killer
Do you know of any sites that are like a tutuorial for making ir controllers? I remember there were a lot from those rcgroups.com forums, in the indoor/micro flight section.

I just got an email from the man who makes them:
Tim,
Unfortunately I ran out of IR transmitters and I only
have receivers available now.
Sergio
I am emailing him back about how to make my own transmitter from an old computer joystick. Hopefully I'll be able to do this, probably not though...
I also asked him if he is still making them. If anyone out there lives in maryland or close by, email me and we might be able to work something out so we don't have to pay shipping (since one of the guys who makes them lives like 25 min from me)

Well, if you guys are really interested in making, and have A LOT of spare time, read this thread from rcgroups.com They also have some other technical threads in that micro forum for other things. Just look at the Sticky post with links to many more threads. There's also a DIY Simple Li-Poly charger, just search for it.
